The Armies of Legionfall is the coalition of orders dedicated todefeating the Legion at the Tomb of Sargeras and the Broken Shore. Thisfaction, added in Patch 7.2, is located on the Broken Shore and aims to securea foothold on this island before breaching into the Tomb of Sargeras.

With Patch 7.2, Nethershards (the currency of the Legionpre-patch) are making a comeback. They are used to purchase variousitems fromthe the faction's quartermaster.

Nethershards can be earned mostly from Broken Shore world quests,or looted from rare elites and containers on the Broken Shore.

We found two Bind-to-Account items that help with catching up on reputationwith the Broken Isles and Argus factions. Sources remain unknown for now.

• Nathrezim Tome of Manipulation is a tome that increases reputationgain with factions of the Broken Isles by 200% for 2 hours. The item isintended for alts and cannot be used above level 109. It drops fromVagath the Betrayed in Krokuun (61, 20).
• Demon's Soulstone is another item that increases reputation with thefactions of the Broken Isles and Argus by 1,000. The item can only be used onArgus. It is especially useful for fresh alts that need to catch up onreputation with the Nightfallen. The item has a smallchance to drop from Argus rare elites.

Legion flying is unlocked when completing the Broken Isles Pathfinder, Part Two meta achievement, which in turns requires3 achievements, including Legionfall Commander, an achievement thatrequires you to reach revered with the Armies ofLegionfall.

After completing an introductory scenario (see our YouTubevideo on the subject), the Broken Isles will periodically be under assault andstandard World Quests will be replaced with Invasion World Quests.These quests, in addition to the standard World Quests rewards, also give Nethershards. Completing four Invasion World Quests unlocks aDemon Assault, a 3-player scenario to repel the Legion's forces froma specific zone (Azsuna, Highmountain, Stormheim, or Val'sharah).

Demon Assaults are up for 6 hours and rotate on a fixed schedule, such that it takes3 days for the cycle of 4 Demon Assaults to complete. If there are only a few minutes left onthe timer and you queue for the scenario, you can still complete it, but youwill not be able to turn in the final quest and get credit, because the NPCdisappears.

Mobs inside Demon Assaults drop Nethershards and Dauntless tokens.

Demon Assaults can be completed while leveling and are a great sourceof experience.

In this section, we are going to list the video previews we made of each of the Demon Assault Scenarios.

Do not forget to ride the carousel for the WHEE! buff whenthe Darkmoon Faire is up.

• The introductory scenario awards 250 reputation and unlocks the Broken Shore World Quests.
• Quests from the Legionfall Campaign (see Breaching the Tomb achievement) rewardvarying amounts of reputation.
• Broken Shore World Quests reward 75 reputation.
• Defending Broken Isles is a one-time quest rewarding 1,500 reputation andrequiring the completion of a Demon Assault scenario.
• Epic Elite World Quests (new world bosses) reward 500 reputation. Broken Shore WorldBosses become accessible whenever the Nether Disruptor is active.
• Tomb of Sargeras World Quests reward 500 reputation. A different quest will beavailable every week, once the tomb opens. Below is a list of all available questsinside the tomb:

• Excavator Karla starts a quest chain that ends withThe Motherlode, which rewards a Wyrmtongue's Cache Key.She offers a new quest every day, which requires you to find lost treasureand rewards you with 75 reputation. Karla's location is marked with a yellowexclamation mark on the Broken Shore map when she has a quest to offer.Below, you will find the quests that lead up to The Motherlode.

• Each contribution of 100 Legionfall War Supplies to structures grants150 reputation and Unity of the Orders (Artifact Power Token). In Patch 7.3,you will no longer receive Legionfall Recompense for contributions.
• Follower missions can grant up to 2 Legionfall Insignias, rewarding250 reputation each. Do not forget to check back if such missionsare up via the scouting map in your Order Hall or the Command Center atDeliverance Point.
• When you complete three Kirin Tor World Quests (The Kirin Tor of Dalaran),you can pick a Greater Legionfall Insignia as a reward that grants 750 reputation.

For every 10,000 reputation beyond Exalted,you will receive a Legionfall Chest that has a chance to containthe Orphaned Felbat pet and Unity of the Orders(Artifact Power Token).

Warmage Kath'leen is the Armies of Legionfall's Quartermaster.Most of the items she sells cost Nethershards and requirea certain reputation level.

The items listed in the following subsections are sold byWarmage Kath'leen with no reputation requirement.

Warmage Kath'leen sells Dauntless tokensfor 400 Nethershards. There is a token for each slotand using a token createsan item appropriate for your loot specialization with an item level of850 (it has a chance to drop as Warforged / Titanforged). The system is verysimilar to what was found on Timeless Isleand in Tanaan Jungle.

Technique: Glyph of Wrathguard is sold for 500 Nethershards.

Death Knights and Paladinscan purchase a class-specific Weapon Arsenal for 1,000 Nethershards.A Weapon Arsenal contains a set of unique weapons that can be used for transmog.Note that the Death Knight weapons you get dependon your specialization.

Nethershard Essence is an item required to craft Patch 7.2 Legendary Items. It costs8,000 Nethershards.

In Patch 7.3, you can purchase Grimoire of Lost Knowledgefor 2,500 . The item will add 6,000 XPto a Champion of your choice.

Relinquished Armor Set costs 400 and sets a Champion's item level to 880.

Completing the Champions of Legionfall achievement (as part of theLegionfall campaign) will grant you a new follower (depending on your class).As of Patch 7.2, the follower cap is 6, meaning that you can use your newfollower without deactivating another one.
